AOV Smoke Vent Upgrades

G&W Contracts were the Principal Contractor and PSCS for the security installation works in a client’s fully operational warehouse in 2023, which stores highly valuable goods, addressing a security risks with the roof AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents).

The project encompassed the supply and installation of numerous security devices on AOVs positioned 18 meters above the warehouse floor.Each device was integrated into the central security system within the building, with both primary and secondary containment installed to ensure the cabling remained secure.Upon completion, all devices were rigorously tested and commissioned.Despite the high- security environment and the warehouse's ongoing operations, the project was completed with minimal disruption to the client.
