Neil Ward
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Neil is the Operations Director of G&W Contracts and has 13 years of experience in the Construction Industry.
Neil is a Chartered Project Manager and over the course of his 10+ years of construction experience he has managed the delivery of multi-million-euro projects for clients across all sectors, and has been involved in multiple stages of the development process.
Neil worked with John Paul Construction and Flynn amongst others prior to co-founding G&W Contracts in 2022, an experience that has afforded him a profound comprehension of the dynamic and competitive nature of the construction sites, along with the associated challenges of delivering high quality products for clients.
Having graduated with First Class Honours in Construction Management from Technological University Dublin, Neil was also honored with the Ivan Webb Gold Medal Award. He further attained a Master’s degree in Construction Project Management from the South East Technological University and is distinguished as a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
Michael Gaule
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
Michael is the Commercial Director of G&W Contracts.
With over 12 years of experience in the Construction and Project Management sectors, Michael is a seasoned Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Director, specialising in cost management, contract negotiation and project delivery. Over the course of a successful career, Michael has developed an extensive portfolio, managing commercial, refurbishment, warehousing, IT, fitout, residential and infrastructure projects forging lasting relationships with Clients and Design Teams alike.
As Commercial Director, Michael oversees all financial and contractual aspects of the various projects, ensuring cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and profitability for clients and stakeholders. His expertise spans across budgeting, procurement, value engineering, and financial forecasting, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation for all commercial projects which is instrumental in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Michael holds an Honours degree in Construction Economics and Quantity Surveying from Munster Technological University.
