IT Server Room Refurbishment

G&W Contracts were appointed the General Contractor for the project and facilitated the role of Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS) in the refurbishment of a high-security IT server room.

The refurbishment aimed to mitigate the risk of water damage to the sensitive equipment housed within the room. This was achieved through the implementation of advanced control measures and early-warning systems designed to detect and respond to any liquid intrusion that might compromise the integrity of the space. The scope of work encompassed a comprehensive package, including mechanical, electrical, leak detection, and fire-stopping systems.

All refurbishment activities were meticulously coordinated within a live operational environment, requiring close collaboration with the IT, security, and facilities management teams to ensure uninterrupted functionality and adherence to stringent security protocols.
