Yard Access Route

G&W Contracts served as Principal Contractor and PSCS for the construction operations of a yard access route to a high security facility in 2023.

The project entailed site set-up of safety barriers, signage, and Harris fencing to secure the site and ensure regulatory compliance. Designated access points for vehicles and personnel were established. Prior to excavation, a comprehensive scan identified and marked underground services, with cautious work conducted in coordination with utility companies. Excavation adhered to design specifications, with edge protection in place and spoil material properly stored. Waste was efficiently removed and disposed of from site. The designed specification was followed for laying the path, finish stone and associated kerbing. The site was subsequently cleaned, landscaped, and restored to its original condition with the site fully demobilised.
